The Project Board

The project board is the window into a project for the team and it's stakeholders. It serves several purposes:

  • What is next?
  • What's done?
  • How much do we have left?
  • Who's working on what?

In this section I want to talk about each of these questions and how you use the project board to answer them:

  1. Forces project to maintain alignment with stakeholders on priorities
  2. Changing priorities requires minimal communication

  5. Eliminates or greatly reduces time necessary for "sync" meetings like stand-up
